Low Vision Program

Our low vision program partnership revolves around the consumer, the consumer's goals in conjunction with the expertise of the Contracted Low Vision Specialist (CLVS) and the Vision Rehabilitation Professional.

The Low Vision Program's primary focus is to maximize use of remaining sight to accomplish activities of daily living, vocational, educational, or travel related tasks. Specific tasks such as reading, crafts, watching TV or seeing bus numbers and schedules are accomplished with a variety of prescribed devices such as magnifiers, reading glasses, binoculars or telescopes that are more powerful than those found in drug stores and commonly used catalogues.

If you would like to know more about the Low Vision Program, contact Central Intake at (302) 255-9848.
