DCSS continues to remind its customers to take a few important steps. All DCSS customers, whether they are receiving payments or not, should contact the Division of Child Support Services to verify that their Social Security number, date of birth, Phone number and current street address are on file.
If a change of address is needed, please forward your information to the Division of Child Support Services at PO Box 15012, Wilmington, DE 19850. Customers can verify their address or make a change by calling and speaking with a child support specialist, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m at any of the following numbers
The Division of Child Support Services’ Automated Assistance Line also is available 24/7 with information in both English and Spanish. Customers will need their case number when they call.
The U.S. Bank ReliaCard® is a pre-paid debit card that is credited whenever a payment is posted to any/all of a client's child support case(s). In most cases, the money will be available within three (3) business days after DCSS applies the payment to the case(s).
Benefits to the debit card include:
Every custodial parent with a child support case can enroll; but, must choose either the ReliaCard -or- Direct Deposit. (Clients cannot have both.)
