Funded Adult Admissions by Fiscal Year and Client Demographics - State Fiscal Years 1996 - 2010 (Updated

The Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH) has been tracking adult admissions to publicly funded
treatment from State Fiscal Year (SFY) 1996
through State Fiscal Year 2010. A table detailing admissions by primary drug at admission, age,
gender, race, and hispanic origin are provided in the attached file.

DSAMH pays particular attention to the primary drug at admission and has created a bar graph displaying
the data from SFY 1996 through 2010.

- Delaware Substance Abuse Treatment Caseload
(Added November 03, 2011)
As of June 30, 2010 (end of SFY 2010) the Substance Abuse Treatment
facilities of New Castle, Kent, and Sussex counties had 3,950 individuals in treatment.
This report shows the distribution of the level of care for those individuals and the caseloads from the
end of previous fiscal years.
