Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

The mission of the Office of Emergency Medical Services is to assure a comprehensive, effective and efficient statewide emergency meidcal care delivery system in order to reduce morbidilty and mortality rates for the citizens of Delaware. The OEMS ensures quality of emergency care services, including trauma and prehospital advanced life support capabilities, through the coordination and evaluation of the emergency medical services system, within available resources.
