Personal Care


Description Personal care services are provided for persons who need help at home or outside the home because of illness or disability. The services are designed to help persons to continue living independently. Specific activities may include assistance with personal hygiene (for example, bathing or shaving), meal preparation, shopping, light housekeeping, and other services. See also: Attendant Services.
Eligibility Delaware residents aged 18+ with physical disabilities or older persons aged 60+ who need support with carrying out daily activities. Personal care services also are available through the Pathways to Employment program for teens and young adults with disabilities who are seeking employment.
