    Provides resources for older drivers, including help with evaluating their driving ability, learning about physical changes that impact driving, and improving skills.
  • Delaware End-of-Life Coalition
    Promotes public and professional awareness of issues and choices related to the end of life. Visit the "Programs" section of the site for video lectures and presentation slides.
  • Delaware Division of the Arts - Creative Aging
    Information about Delaware's Creative Aging Workshop and other resources to promote creativity among Delaware's older population.
  • Delaware Senior Drivers
    Information for older drivers from the Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV). The site includes driving tips, a self-assessment test, links to assistive devices, reaction time games, and more. Be sure to check out DMV's senior driving guide.
  • Described and Captioned Media Program
    The Described and Captioned Media Program is funded by the U.S Department of Education and administered by the National Association of the Deaf. It is a free-loan program that has open-captioned media available to all persons in the US who have a hearing loss, as well as teachers, parents, and others. Over 4,000 titles are currently available, and approximately 300 new titles are added each year.
  • Microsoft's Resource Guide for Persons with Visual Impairments
    Includes useful information on how to adjust the size of the words and images that appear on a computer screen. It also has information about assistive technologies for persons with visual impairments.
  • National Library Services for the Blind and Physically Handicapped
    Provides a searchable database to locate books and magazines in braille or audio. It also includes local library locations, book reviews, and other helpful information.
  • PAWS for People
    Presents information about this pet-assisted visitation service in northern New Castle County and surrounding areas. The program provides visits with pets to various programs and facilities, including those serving older persons and people with disabilities.
