DEATH OF FORMER DELAWARE PSYCHIATRIC CENTER PATIENT


NEW CASTLE (July 31, 2012) - A 58-year-old woman, who was recently discharged from Delaware Psychiatric Center near New Castle, was found unresponsive in her Sussex County home on Sunday, July 29. She was pronounced dead at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes.

Autopsy results are pending from the state Medical Examiner's Office.

An investigation by the Department of Health and Social Services is continuing. Foul play is not suspected in the woman's death.
