Current Suspected Overdose Deaths in Delaware for 2020: Get Help Now!
The current COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a need to provide early intervention services remotely using virtual technology methods instead of through in-person visits. Telehealth visits are a method for providing early intervention services via the internet. Telehealth early intervention visits can be provided through a personal computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone using a secure network. The early intervention professional and family or caregiver are both present in real time.
The Birth to Three staff have worked collaboratively with the Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center (ECTA) to develop materials and COVID-19 guidance for families and early intervention providers to consider when deciding if telehealth would work for your family. For more information on COVID-19, including how to talk to your children about the virus, please visit the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
