Hours: Business & Facility Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Purpose: The Thatcher Street Office currently offers client services by Delaware Health and Social Services (DHSS) divisions:
Directions: Please follow the written directions below or use the interactive map provided by Yahoo! Maps [ Yahoo! Maps ] to the Thatcher Street Office.

From the North
(Including Claymont and Philadelphia)
  1. I-95 South
  2. Route 202 South/Concord Pike exit (Concord Pike South becomes Concord Avenue, which becomes Vandever Avenue)
  3. Continue on Vandever Avenue for approximately 10 blocks
  4. Turn Right onto Locust Street
  5. Turn Left onto 16th St.
  6. The Thatcher Street Office will be on your right at the end of the block. Parking is on the left.

From the South:
(Including Bear, Lower New Castle County and Kent and Sussex Counties)
  1. Route 13/DuPont Highway North (Route 13/DuPont Highway becomes South Market Street, which becomes South Walnut Street)
  2. Continue across the bridge over Christina River and straight ahead 3 blocks.
  3. Turn Right onto E. 4th Street and continue 5 blocks.
  4. Turn Left onto Church Street and continue to 11th Street.
  5. Bear Right across the bridge over the Brandywine River on Northeast Blvd.
  6. Continue 2 blocks to 14th Street, and bear Left onto Thatcher Street
  7. Turn Left at the next intersection at 16th Street
  8. Parking is on your right. The building is on your left.

From the East:
(Including I-495)
  1. From I-495, take the 12th Street Exit.
  2. Follow 12th Street to the end.
  3. Turn Right onto Northeast Blvd. Stay in the left lane.
  4. Bear left almost immediately onto Thatcher Street.
  5. Turn left at 16th Street.
  6. Parking is on your right; the building is on your left.

From the West:
(Including Elsmere)
  1. Route 48/Lancaster Pike East (Lancaster Pike becomes Lancaster Avenue, which becomes Martin Luther King Blvd.)
  2. Continue past Market Street in the Right lane, straight ahead onto Front Street.
  3. Follow Front Street when it curves left and becomes Church Street.
  4. Continue on Church Street to 11th Street.
  5. Bear Right across the bridge over the Brandywine River on Northeast Blvd.
  6. Continue 2 blocks to 14th Street, and bear Left onto Thatcher Street
  7. Turn Left at the next intersection at 16th Street
  8. Parking is on your right; the building is on your left.
Parking: Parking for the Thatcher Street Office is across the street from the building.
