This Locator provides you with comprehensive information about mental health services and resources and is useful for professionals, consumers and their families, and the public. You can access this information in several ways by selecting a State or U.S. Territory from the map or drop-down menu.

SAMHSA's Treatment Facility Locator
The Substance Abuse Treatment Facility Locator is a searchable on-line version of the National Directory of Drug Abuse and Alcoholism Treatment Programs that identifies treatment facilities located closest to a specified location. The locator displays maps pinpointing the exact location of facilities identified in a search. This application is supported by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY MEDIA CAMPAIGN

NIDA INFOFAX

NIDA (National Institute on Drug Abuse) has announced a new information resource of science-based facts about drug abuse and addiction. It is called NIDA Infofax and is a toll-free recorded phone service providing:

• Fact sheets via fax-on-demand, mail or TTY
• Access 24 hours a day in English, Spanish or TTY
• Brief audio messages on drugs of abuse and other topics

NIDA Infofax provides about forty fact sheets on a range of topics related to illicit drug abuse. The fact sheets are based on recent research findings and are updated regularly. They are available by dialing:

• For hearing impaired-1-888-TTY-NIDA (1-888-889-6432)
