Congregate Meals

Program/Service description Congregate meals are provided daily in group settings such as senior centers. Participants in the congregate meal program have the opportunity to socialize while enjoying nutritionally-balanced meals. As part of the program, nutrition counseling and nutrition education are also made available.

Who is eligible Persons 60 years of age or older and their spouses regardless of age.  Also available to persons with disabilities under the age of 60 who reside in housing facilities where congregate meals are served

Some publicly-funded programs have eligibility requirements and provide services at low cost or no cost to people who qualify.
