Home modifications generally refer to changes that are made to a person's home to assist him or her live independently. A home modification might include, for example, the installation of a ramp or handrails.
The Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD) has a limited amount of funds to assist with home modifications for eligible individuals. For more information about this service, see the home modification page of this website.
