WILMINGTON (March 14, 2014) - The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner today ruled that the death of a 13-month-old girl found unresponsive Thursday at a Newark child care center is pending further medical studies.
Delaware State Police have said there is no evidence of foul play in the girl's death. The baby was found unresponsive Thursday afternoon by a worker at One Step Ahead Child Care & Preschool after the worker tried to wake her from a nap.
