It's Official! The Delaware Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) law signed

On May 14, 2010 Governor Jack Markell signed HB351 into law to formally establish an Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) within the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD). The full text of the legislation, along with the sponsor list, amendments, voting results, and related information, is available on the Delaware General Assembly's web site.

The ADRC will provide a one-stop access point for long-term care services and support for older persons and adults with physical disabilities in Delaware. It is scheduled to begin operation in Fall 2010.

For more information about the Delaware ADRC and DSAAPD's progress in getting ready for the launch this fall, please see the ADRC Grant Announcement and ADRC Planning and Development pages of this web site.

Individuals or organizations with comments, suggestions or questions about Delaware's ADRC are encouraged to contact the ADRC Coordinator.
