A routine sample collected on June 2, 2016 showed a nitrate concentration in the drinking water of 18.9 mg/L. This is above the nitrate standard, or maximum contaminant level, of 10 mg/L that the State of Delaware, Division of Public Health has adopted.
We are working with the Division of Public Health to resolve the nitrate violation.
This notice will remain posted for as long as the water exceeds the nitrate standard of 10mg/L. We will inform you when this problem has been corrected.
