Grandparent and Relative Caregivers Support and Information Groups

Relative caregivers report that among their greatest needs is emotional support and information. Many of Delaware’s caregivers find this assistance through participation in one of the caregiver groups located through the state.

Grandparents and other relative caregivers meet on a regular basis to verbalize their concerns, to learn from each others’ experiences, and to receive valuable information on resources and programs available to them.

There is no charge for participation in any of the groups listed below.  Each location may offer different services such as childcare or refreshments. It is recommended that you call the contact person before attending a meeting to check on available services and to confirm the meeting date and time.
