Women's Wellness Expo
Despite spending billions of dollars on fad diets, Americans are not winning the battle of the bulge. In Delaware, 57% of adult women are either overweight or obese. While the issue is complex, a significant contributing factor is the phenomenon known as "portion distortion." Bigger sized foods, coupled with excessive servings in restaurants, make many uncertain exactly how much they should be eating. Join this demonstration as registered dietitian Marianne Carter, author of the News Journal column "Weigh-In," provides practical guidelines for portion control and answers the question, "How Much is Too Much?"
