Each July we bring in experts from around the country who have their fingers on the pulse of promising practices, new research, and evidenced-based practices in mental health and substance abuse. This year was no exception.
The Summer Institute - 2007 featured keynote speaker Dr. Carlo Di-Clemente on the Stages of Change. Also featured was Michael Nye's powerful photographic exhibit "A fine Line." Workshop topics included Co-occurring disorders: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Positive Psychology and Spirituality; Prevention; White Bears, Craving, and Addiction; Ethics; Emerging Recovery Practices, and many more continuing education opportunities were made available.
