Attention Medicaid Participants: Eligibility Renewals Restarted April 1, 2023
A routine sample collected on February 25, 2015 showed a nitrate concentration in the drinking water of 13.6 mg/L. This is above the nitrate standard, or maximum contaminant level, of 10 mg/L that the State of Delaware, Division of Public Health has adopted.
We will investigate the installation of treatment or drilling a new well to resolve the nitrate issue.
We anticipate resolving the problem within six months. We will inform you when this problem has been corrected. For more information, please contact Pastor Parker at 302- 242-0015 or Sabrina Youngblood Environmental Health Specialist II with the Office of Drinking Water at 302-741-8593.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly.
