TUBERCULOSIS (TB) AND HIV WELLNESS CLIENTS IN 
GEORGETOWN, DELAWARE


Clarification of Scope of Services for HSS 10-049 – Medical Imaging Request for Proposal

1.	Preference will be given to the vendor(s) who provides digital medical imaging services for 
the Division of Public Health’s Sussex County Health Tuberculosis and HIV Wellness 
clients. 

2.	The successful vendor will assure compatibility of their electronic transfer system for medical 
images to the Division’s Sussex County Health Tuberculosis and HIV Wellness clinics.

3.   The successful vendor must provide copies of medical images as requested by DPH    staff.  
Requests include DVD and print copy formats.

1.	Question - Is the meeting mandatory?  
	Answer - As stated on pages 1, 2, and 5 of the RFP, RFP HSS 10 049 did not have 
	a mandatory pre-bid meeting requirement, therefore, no meeting was scheduled.

2.	Question - Since we are a new imaging facility that opened in April 2009 we do not have any 
contacts or references, what else can we submit?
	Answer - Please provide letters of support or reference from Medical Centers and 
	providers/physicians for whom you have rendered medical imaging services since the 
	inception of the business. 

3.	Question - Where are the facilities located? 
	Answer - The Sussex County Health Unit, TB Clinic, is located at the:
		Georgetown State Service Center
	Sussex County Health Unit

	Georgetown, DE  19947

	   The Christiana Care HIV Community Program (Georgetown 	  	   	   
Wellness Clinic) is located at the:

4.	Question - Will there be scheduled times and hours in which I will be required to have a 
technologist there? 
	Answer - At a minimum, the successful vendor will provide medical imaging services 
	Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, 12 months a year at their respective
	Sussex County facility (ies).  No medical imaging services are provided within the 
	Sussex County Health Unit or the Georgetown Wellness Clinic facilities.


5.	Question - What is the weekly and/or monthly volume expected per site? 
	Answer - Volume varies with a range of 46 to 110 images per month.  
	
	For example, requests for medical imaging services increase when TB staff 
	conducts community contact investigations.
