What is the number of hours of service for this position? Answer: 37.5 hours per week. Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm 2. What is the expected caseload? Answer: This position will not carry a caseload, but will provide short term assessment and/or intervention as needed to a limited number of families. 3. What is the hourly rate? Answer: This is a new contract and the bids will assist us in determining an hourly rate. We are expecting you to tell us in your bid at what rate you can provide a person to provide these duties. 4. What is the geographic area to be served? Answer: Kent and Sussex Counties in Delaware. 5. Do most services occur in the home and community or at a program location? Answer: Services will occur in the home, community and other program/agency locations. 6.? Is this program funded or fee for service funding model? Answer: This program is federally funded. 7. How are referrals/caseload received? Answer: Clients will be referred to the LCSW/MHP by the Child Development Watch staff on an as needed basis. 8. How is it envisioned the Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT) approach will be used? Answer: It is envisioned that the PCIT approach would be integrated into both consultative and direct service provision with families and early childhood providers. In addition, the contractor may provide structured PCIT sessions with a limited number of families. PCIT is not the only model that would be used or promoted. 9. Is certification in the PCIT model required or is a background and training in the model sufficient? Answer: Current certification in PCIT is not required. The contractor should be willing to attend training offered on the model. 10. Would office space be provided and if so out of what location? Answer: Office space will be provided at Child Development Watch – 18 North Walnut Street Milford, DE. 11. Is this service currently being provided or is this a new area of emphasis? Answer: This service is not being provided and is a new area of emphasis. 12. How will the 37.5 hours be utilized if clients do not show for appointments? Answer: This position will not provide client assessment and intervention only. Other services will be expected such as consultation for Child Development Watch staff, families of clients and other related agencies. In addition, reports, meetings and staff trainings will be required. This position will be expected to actively participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary team at Child Development Watch and will be required to attend all team meetings to discuss and recommend treatments options. 13. Should the cost proposal include a one year budget or an eighteen month budget? Answer: The cost proposal should be for eighteen months. 14. This contract will be funded by ARRA funds and will run from April 1, 2010 to September 30, 2011.
