EXPECTING MOTHERS AND THOSE WITH INFANTS: COME TO BRECKNOCK PARK AUGUST 1ST TO CELEBRATE WORLD BREAST FEEDING WEEK


Dover, DE - The Breastfeeding Coalition of Delaware and the Division of Public Health Office of Women's Health invite you to join us for an Afternoon in the Park on August 1 at Brecknock Park in Camden to learn more about breastfeeding, women's health and nutrition. This event will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Pavilion 2 and the Piccadilly Stage.

In celebration of World Breastfeeding Week, mothers with infants and young children can learn about the importance of breastfeeding and good nutrition. Water and healthy snacks will be provided by Nemours Health and Prevention Services and Pepsi Bottling Co.

Health fair exhibitors will include the Delaware Breastfeeding Coalition, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program, the Delaware Office of Woman's Health, the Help Me Grow Program, the Delaware Coalition for Healthy Eating and Active Living (DE HEAL), the Health Ambassador Program, the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, the Division of Child Support Enforcement, and the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension.

An Afternoon in the Park is sponsored by the Delaware Division of Public Health's Office of Women's Health, the Delaware Breastfeeding Coalition, Nemours Health and Prevention Services and the Kent County Department of Parks and Recreation.
