PUBLIC HEALTH CLOSES BODY ART BUSINESS OPERATING WITHOUT PERMIT IN WILMINGTON

The Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH) closed a New Castle County body art business on March 8, 2012 for violation of regulations under Title 16 of the Delaware Code. The 2nd Look Ink establishment at 1925 A West 4th Street, Wilmington, DE 19805 operated without a permit.

DPH encourages customers and employees who may have received services at this facility to contact their health care provider for evaluation for diseases such as hepatitis and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) that may be transmitted through unsterile equipment.

Delawareans can also contact DPH's Bureau of Epidemiology at 302-744-1033 with questions about health risks and disease testing services. For more information on body art establishments, visit www.dhss.delaware.gov/dhss/dph/hsp/bodyart.html
