DPH CLOSES UNPERMITTED BODY ART BUSINESS

Delaware's Division of Public Health closed an unpermitted body art business Feb. 16 after receiving an anonymous tip. Cruz-N-Art at 1925 West 4th Street, Wilmington was found in violation of regulations under Title 16 of Delaware Code. Without a permit, Cruz-N-Art also failed to receive the necessary health inspections to operate and failed to obtain consent forms from customers.

DPH encourages customers and employees who may be experiencing any health issues to contact their health care provider for evaluation.

Delawareans can also contact DPH's Bureau of Epidemiology at 302-744-1050 with questions about health risks and disease testing services.

For more information on body art establishments, go to dhss.delaware.gov/dhss/dph/hsp/bodyart.html
