CEMETERY MEETING POSTPONED

Assistance still available.


The Division of Public Health's (DPH) public meeting on cemetery registration and the Distressed Cemetery Fund that was scheduled for April 30 has been postponed until fall. However, funds are still available to individuals, groups and/or owners who maintain and preserve cemeteries.

Anyone interested in applying for assistance through the Distressed Cemetery Fund must register the cemetery by submitting the application available at www.dhss.delaware.gov/dhss/dph/hp/files/cemetery_reg.pdf
To request funds, call the Delaware Health Statistics Center at 744-4541. Funding amounts range from $1,000 to $2,000.
