H1N1 VACCINES ADMINISTERED IN SCHOOLS – NOV. 6, 2009
Delaware's Division of Public Health and the Delaware Department of Education completed the fifth day of the H1N1 school vaccination program Nov. 6, by administering H1N1 flu nasal spray vaccine to 692 Delaware elementary public and charter school students with parental permission. This brings the total number of students vaccinated through the statewide H1N1 school vaccination program to 5287.

* One child from the Richard Allen School in the Indian River District provided a valid consent form and was vaccinated and counted at the Howard T. Ennis School.
Statistics for four schools that conducted vaccinations last week have been updated, based on corrected totals for the student body. This demonstrates a higher percentage of student participation than previously reported.

DPH will send a media advisory of school vaccine counts each day for the remainder of this week only. Please note that Veteran's Day, Nov. 11, is a state holiday.
This week, some older students will receive the injectable version of vaccine.
