GOVERNOR TO VISIT NEW FARMERS’ MARKET AT LEGISLATIVE MALL

WHAT: Gov. Markell will speak at the new farmers’ market designed to make healthy foods from local farmers more available to the community.

Consuming the U.S. Department of Agriculture's recommended daily allowance of around 4 1/2 cups of fruits and vegetables a day lowers the risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Eating more fruits and vegetables also prevents overweight and obesity.

Parking is available in the Public Archives parking lot.
