MEDIA ADVISORY
Lt. Governor John C. Carney, Jr. will join Dr. Jaime Rivera, director of Delaware's Division of Public Health Director, to promote the administration of timely and recommended immunizations for children and adults.

| WHAT: | The Lt. Governor and Dr. Rivera will focus on three vaccines: flu shots, adult pneumococcal vaccines, and the new HPV vaccine for girls and young women to prevent cervical cancer. Dr. Rivera will brief reporters about how providers and their patients can obtain free HPV vaccine through the new adult immunization program. |

Directions from the North via I-95: Take I-95 South to Wilmington. Merge onto I-495 South. Take Exit 3 (East 12th Street). Take the ramp towards U.S. -13. Turn right onto East 12th St. Turn right onto Thatcher Street. Turn left onto E. 16th Street. Turn right into Northeast Health parking lot.
Directions from the South via I-95: Take I-95 North into Delaware and continue north to Wilmington. ((Near Wilmington, I-295 and I-495 split off to the right. Stay in the left lanes to continue on I-95). Take Exit 7 toward SR-52 / Delaware Avenue. Turn right onto Delaware Avenue/DE-52 S. Continue to follow DE-52 S, which becomes East 11th Street. Turn left onto East 11th Street / US-13 N. Continue to follow US-13 N. Turn left onto Thatcher Street (at Gulf Station). Turn left onto East 16th Street. Turn right into Northeast Health parking lot.
