NEW CASTLE COUNTY FLU VACCINATION APPOINTMENTS FILLED
Delawareans Asked to Stop Calling Today; state should have more vaccine in the coming weeks
As of 2 p.m. today, Delaware's Division of Public Health (DPH) filled almost 4,000 flu vaccination appointments reserved for New Castle County residents.
When attending the Nov. 30 clinic, individuals must bring identification, proof that they live or attend school in Delaware, and their Medicare card, if applicable.
Residents should not call clinic sites for information on the upcoming flu clinic. For directions, call the Delaware Helpline at 1-800-464-4357.
DPH will offer a total of nearly 8,000 doses of flu vaccine, which will be dispensed at nine locations on Nov. 30.
More vaccine is expected in the state in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to local media outlets for information on how this vaccine will be distributed.
Delaware Health and Social Services is committed to improving the quality of the lives of Delaware's citizens by promoting health and well-being, fostering self-sufficiency, and protecting vulnerable populations.
