FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHILD SUPPORT CHECKS REDESIGNED

Clients cautioned to avoid discarding, damaging checks

Beginning next week, the Division of Child Support Enforcement will implement a new check design. The new checks will provide more security features and will be printed on a pressure-sealed folded document that eliminates the need for separate envelopes.

Although the new checks still have the division logo and name, clients should take care not to confuse the new checks with other items and accidentally discard them. Additional care should be taken when opening the pressure-sealed envelope to avoid damaging the check. Instructions for opening the new checks are printed on the back of the document.

Delaware Health and Social Services is committed to improving the quality of the lives of Delaware's citizens by promoting health and well-being, fostering self-sufficiency, and protecting vulnerable populations.
