GOVERNOR'S TASK FORCE TO REVIEW FINDINGS FROM CONCEPT MAPPING
Gov. Ruth Ann Minner's Infant Mortality Task Force will review preliminary results from its concept mapping project at a meeting Oct. 21 from 1-5:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center in Dover.
Concept mapping is a process that allows maximum input into conducting research, developing plans and setting priorities. Concept mapping takes a large number of ideas and suggestions collected from surveys to determine groupings of those with similar content and how groupings connect with each other. The task force invited 3,000 people to submit ideas.
More than 500 responses were provided to Concept Systems Incorporated, which conducted the process for the task force.
The concept map will become the basis of recommendations developed by the task force.
Committees will also meet.
Delaware Health and Social Services is committed to improving the quality of the lives of Delaware's citizens by promoting health and well-being, fostering self-sufficiency, and protecting vulnerable populations.
