ALLAN R. ZABACK PROMOTED TO DIRECTOR OF THE DIVISION OF SERVICES FOR THE AGING AND ADULTS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES
Vincent P. Meconi, Secretary of Delaware Health and Social Services (DHSS), is pleased to announce that Allan R. Zaback has been promoted to director of the Division of Services for the Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD).
Zaback, who has been serving as acting director since Aug. 19, 2002, previously served as DSAAPD's deputy director for a year and a half. He has been an employee of the State of Delaware for 15 years, which included stints in DHSS' Division of State Service Centers and the Division of Child Support Enforcement.
As director of DSAAPD, Zaback is responsible for advocacy on behalf of older persons and adults with physical disabilities in Delaware.
"Mr. Zaback is an experienced, capable public servant who serves Delaware's aging and physically disabled population with compassion and genuine commitment," Meconi said. "He is an outstanding member of our leadership team."
