The conference will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Delaware Technical & Community College, Terry Campus, Conference and Training Center, Dover.
"The Delaware Conference on Volunteerism promises to be exciting, enjoyable, and enriching," said Cynthia Lovell, acting director of the Division of State Service Centers. "The conference is designed to provide technical assistance, networking opportunities and new information."

The conference also will offer roundtable discussions on homeland security and organizing volunteer projects. Presenters will include local experts, as well as professionals from Pennsylvania and Virginia. Lt. Governor John Carney will address the conference during the opening session.
