DELAWARE HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES DIVISION PUBLISHES SERVICES GUIDE FOR OLDER PERSONS

The 1999-2000 Guide to Services for Older Delawareans is now available through Delaware Health and Social Services' Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD). The directory provides a comprehensive list of services for senior citizens.

The 232-page guide, updated and expanded for 1999-2000 is published as a public service and is available at no cost at senior centers statewide and at the Division's offices in New Castle, Newark, and Milford. The popular guide includes information in English and Spanish about statewide services for older persons, including adult day care, adult protective services, Alzheimer's disease, employment, food programs, legal services, medical/health care, nursing homes, senior centers, support groups, transportation and more.

Delaware Health and Social Services is committed to improving the quality of the lives of Delaware's citizens by promoting health and well-being, fostering self-sufficiency, and protecting vulnerable populations.
