On August 30, 2007, Dr. Richard T. Callery was reappointed to another ten year term as Chief Medical Examiner, Director of the Forensic Sciences Laboratory for the State of Delaware.

OCME Medical-Legal staffing has increased to meet rising caseloads and demands. Two new Forensic Investigator positions are currently in the final stages of recruitment; one for each of the Wilmington and Georgetown facilities. The additions of newly allocated Analytical Chemist II and Laboratory Technician positions have bolstered our extremely busy Controlled Substance staff. We have started a recruitment process to hire a new chemist to serve as our Laboratory Quality Assurance Manager.
