From the North:
(Including the city of New Castle, Wilmington and North Wilmington)
- I-95 South
- Route 1 South
- Take Route 72/Delaware City exit (which is approximately 2 miles after the Route 1 and Route 13 merge)
- Turn Left onto Route 72 at the light at the bottom of the exit ramp (toward Delaware City)
- Proceed on Route 72 past both the Route 72/Route 9 merge and Delaware City
- After crossing small bridge,
- Turn Left at the first turn into the Governor Bacon Health Center
- OR -
- Bear to the Right and follow the directions for Fort DuPont State Park. Turn Left at the first opportunity onto Wilmington Avenue (under the Reedy Point Bridge) and proceed onto the grounds of the Governor Bacon Health Center
From the South:
(Including: Southern New Castle County and Kent and Sussex Counties)
- Route 1 or Route 13 North
- Take Route 72/Delaware City exit (which is approximately 1/2 mile after crossing the Veterans Memorial Highway or St. Georges Bridges)
- Turn Right onto Route 72 (toward Delaware City)
- Proceed on Route 72 past both the Route 72/Route 9 merge and Delaware City
- After crossing small bridge,
- Turn Left at the first turn into the Governor Bacon Health Center
- OR -
- Bear to the Right and follow the directions for Fort DuPont State Park. Turn Left at the first opportunity onto Wilmington Avenue (under the Reedy Point Bridge) and proceed onto the grounds of the Governor Bacon Health Center
From the West:
(Including: Bear and Lums Pond)
- Route 72 East (toward Delaware City)
- Proceed on Route 72 past both the Route 72/Route 9 merge and Delaware City
- After crossing small bridge,
- Turn Left at the first turn into the Governor Bacon Health Center
- OR -
- Bear to the Right and follow the directions for Fort DuPont State Park. Turn Left at the first opportunity onto Wilmington Avenue (under the Reedy Point Bridge) and proceed onto the grounds of the Governor Bacon Health Center
