How Can RSVP Help Me?
RSVP refers adults 55 and older to service opportunities with local non-profits. We can help you find the best fit quickly by matching your skills and interests with our database of opportunities. View RSVP's Most Wanted List of opportunities . In addition, you will receive free supplemental insurance and invitations to free recognition events.
What is the Time Commitment?
You choose when and where you want to volunteer. You can serve on an ongoing basis or only when your schedule permits. Put in a few hours a month or serve every day. It's up to you.
What is the Cost?
All of RSVP's services are provided free of charge.
What is National Service?
RSVP is a national service program supported by federal and state dollars. There are over 750 RSVPs throughout America. Through RSVP you can give back to your local community while at the same time serving your country.
Nationally, RSVP is sponsored by the Corporation for National and Community Service. In New Castle County, the Division of State Service Centers is RSVP's sponsor.
How Do I Get Started?
There are three ways to put RSVP to work for you:
- Download an RSVP Entrance Form (Text only version ). Fill the form out and mail it back to us. We will call you to conduct an interview over the phone or in person.
- Contact our business office and we will mail an RSVP information kit to your home.
