The Delaware Health and Social Services, Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, invites you to the 41st Summer Institute on Substance Abuse and Mental Health, Opening Doors to the Future, to be held July 30-August 2, 2012, at Embassy Suites, in Newark, Delaware.

The Summer Institute on Substance Abuse and Mental Health is an annual week-long conference held the last week of July. The Institute brings in internationally and nationally renowned faculty to present on new and emerging evidence-based and best practice treatment approaches. Participants of the Institute are engaged in learning new skills and honing the skills that they use every day.

The Institute is not limited to clinical staff; individuals in recovery, family members, support systems, other state agencies, and any person interested in topics presented is encouraged to attend. We strongly feel that a workshop that has participants with diverse backgrounds, opinions and experiences promotes learning and networking opportunities.
