September was Drug and Alcohol Abuse Recovery Month and the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health had celebrated its 15th Annual Drug and Alcohol Abuse Recovery Month with a new program and a variety of activities around the state.

To celebrate Recovery Month and recognize individuals in recovery from substance addiction, DSAMH has produced a small booklet of stories of real Delawareans who are making good progress on their path out of addiction. This free booklet is available to the public. DSAMH distributed $12,000 in mini-grants to support these community based activities in support of Recovery Month statewide.
