HEALTHY DELAWARE 2010
Healthy Delaware 2010. The Division of Substance Abuse
and Mental Health is a Healthy Delaware 2010 partner. HD2010 is the people of Delaware's prevention
agenda and the community health guide for the decade. Behavioral health and substance abuse are two focus
areas that are important to individual and community health and are the primary areas for DSAMH involvement.
Increased access to services, increased screening for behavioral healthcare needs and educational initiatives
specific to the focus areas are examples of where DSAMH is directing some of its many efforts in support
of the HD2010 agenda.
