Delaware Celebrates National Employ Older Workers Week
The Senior Community Service Employment Program recently celebrated National Employ Older Workers Week, honoring six older Delawareans and three employers.
Delaware’s program provides work experience and training, supportive services and job search assistance each year to more than 350 seniors who have limited incomes and who are age 55 or older.
This year’s celebration was held on September 24, 2008 at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover.
