Draft State Senior Employment Services Coordination Plan Available for Public Comment

About the Draft Plan

The State of Delaware receives funding for the Title V Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) through the Older Americans Act. SCSEP creates subsidized, community service training opportunities and provides job skills training for eligible Older Delawareans. Both Community Service and Economic Self-Sufficiency are SCSEP goals. The annual State Plan provides direction into how the Program is implemented in Delaware and how coordination is strengthened between DHSS, DSAAPD and the Workforce Investment Act's One-Stop Delivery System.

How to make comments on the Draft Plan

Comments should arrive at DSAAPD no later than March 25, 2004 to be included in the final State Plan. Comments can be faxed, e-mailed, hand-delivered, or mailed to DSAAPD. See the General Contact Information section of DSAAPD's Contact Information page.
