Draft State Senior Employment Services Coordination Plan Available for Public Comment

About the Proposed 2006 State Plan

The State of Delaware receives funding for the Title V Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) through the Older Americans Act.  SCSEP creates subsidized, community service training opportunities and provides job skills training for eligible Older Delawareans.  SCSEP goals include community service and economic self-sufficiency.  The annual State Plan provides direction into how the program is implemented in Delaware and how coordination is strengthened between the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS), the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD), and the Workforce Investment Act's One-Stop Delivery System.
