Alzheimer's Day Treatment

Program/Service description Alzheimer’s Day Treatment is a program for people with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia. It is a non-residential, day program. Medical, recreational, and personal care services are provided. Staff in the program receive specialized training in Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia so that they are able to help people with these mental impairments.

Who is eligible Delaware residents with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease or related dementia, who are incapable of being left alone during the day.
Where it is available Two locations:
  • Suburban Wilmington (serving New Castle County)
  • Milford (serving Kent and Sussex Counties)

Some publicly-funded programs have eligibility requirements and provide services at low cost or no cost to people who qualify.
