This site includes important information about bioterrorism events and other threats that may occur and steps you should take in case of an outbreak.
We provide information for two distincts groups of Delawareans. One group is the consumer who may want to find some general information about health related topics. The other group is the professional who may need more detailed information about the same health related topics and access to the secure area.

Operation Diamond Shield 2004 was a large scale functional bioterrorism exercise held in Delaware from June 10-13. The purpose of the exercise was to demonstrate the activation, distribution and management of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) and ascertain the practicality of existing Delaware bioterrorism plans and procedures while assessing capabilities, limitations and deficiencies.
