In March, 2009, the Delaware Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (DE-APP) received a grant from the Blue Prints for the Community Fund of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware. This project was conducted with support from the Division of Public Health, and many organizations, to expand universal developmental screening in our state. In 2006, the Early Success Plan was revised and expanded in a collaborative effort by the Delaware Early Care and Education Council (DECEC) and the Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems Steering Committee with assistance from many early childhood stakeholders.
