  • Developmental Comprehensive Screening Project (DCS) - Final Analysis Report
    In March, 2009, the Delaware Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (DE-APP) received a grant from the Blue Prints for the Community Fund of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware. This project was conducted with support from the Division of Public Health, and many organizations, to expand universal developmental screening in our state. Learn more about the DCS project here.
  • Delaware's Pediatricians 2008
    This pediatrician report is from data extrapolated from a larger survey series report, Primary Care Physicians in Delaware 2008, funded by the Division of Public Health/Bureau of Health Planning and Resource Management. In coordination with the ECCS program, this report measures the number and spatial distribution of pediatricians practicing in Delaware.
  • 2008 Childhood Injury in Delaware
    In Delaware, and across the nation, injury is the leading cause of death for children age 1-19. This report, produced by the Division of Public Health's Emergency Medical Services for Children Office of Emergency Medical Services, provides data for injury prevention professionals and provides prevention strategies for the public and policy makers.
  • Early Success: Delaware’s Early Childhood Plan
    In 2006, the Early Success Plan was revised and expanded in a collaborative effort by the Delaware Early Care and Education Council (DECEC) and the Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems Steering Committee with assistance from many early childhood stakeholders. This document is recognized as Delaware’s official Early Childhood Plan.

    The 2005 report, Building a Comprehensive Early Childhood System in Delaware: Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems (ECCS) Grant Needs Assessment provides information and recommendation on how the ECCS grant can strategically plan to implement a coordinated, comprehensive system for young children and their families.
  • Indicators for Early Success Issue Brief
    The Indicators for Early Success Issue Brief marks the commencement of a statewide collaborative effort to identify accessible, reliable indicators that can track progress toward desired results in building early childhood systems and coordinating policy and services in Delaware.
