Office of the Secretary Services
The Office of the Secretary oversees the Departments' 12 Divisions, through which the direct services are provided. Among services available through DHSS are Medicaid, food stamps, the Children's Health Insurance Program, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Vaccines for Children, and child support enforcement, as well as general services for the aging, and for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, visual impairments, mental illness and other vulnerable populations.
