- Recipes for Home-Long Term Care Residents Speak Out
About 200 residents of long-term care facilities around the state gathered Wednesday to celebrate their right to make choices about their care and treatment. By design, the eighth annual Residents' Rights Pep Rally, focused solely on the residents. This year, residents submitted recipes for what makes a good home. A Power Point Presentation is available for viewing as well as a Crossword Puzzle and Word Search activity sheet to print.

- Wilmington Change Report Center Opens October 1st!
Individuals who receive TANF, Food Stamps, Medical Assistance, Child Care Assistance and/or Cash Assistance from Delaware Health and Social Services (DHSS) Division of Social Services (DSS) will find it easier to report changes in information that are required for them to receive their benefits when the new Change Reporting Center (CRC) opens Wednesday, October 1, 2008. DSS created the new CRC to allow for greater efficiency in handling the required reporting and to save money in the face of higher volume of people applying for economic assistance programs.
